Trying to keep the driving distance to a reasonable amount for everyone I found a park in Chandler that is on the south side of the Phx Metro area.

West Chandler Aquatic Center is a water park / aquatic center. The places looks like a lot of fun.
The date most were available is July 11 so thats it!
The park opens at noon, so lets meet then. If we are there early we can easily get a shaded area!

Summer Meet up
Many of you replied to my email about getting together this summer. LETS DO IT! Marisa was kind enough to find a few options for us in the south valley area.
Please COMMENT with your site & date preference.
1. Pecos Pool 17010 S. 48th St.,(this is very close to Ahwatukee 48th Street and Pecos Road you take 48th Street, and Chandler Boulevard. There is a really nice pool for infants there. it is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children 0-17.
There is also right outside of the pools there is a park with spray pads for kids to get wet, that's free.
2. Tempe Town lake has a park area that has water too.
3. There is a children's museum in downtown phoenix and that is about 15 minutes from Ahwatukee.
Dates:
June 13 or 27 or July 11?
Looking forward to seeing you all this summer!

Jordyn & I!
Okay, so I think Jordyn might be one of the oldest babies in our little group here, she's 7 1/2 months old... but here are a couple pictures, at birth on Sept 4 coming out at 9lbs 1oz and here she is a couple weeks ago at the park! At her 6 month check up she was 19lbs 9 oz, so about 10.5 lbs bigger... she's got no interest in figuring out how to crawl, but she's trying to walk and said "Da-Da" for the first time on Monday!

Picacho Peak Gathering
In attendance were Kristina & Erynn (left), Priscilla & Isabel (center), and Amy & Elizabeth (right). A friend of Kristina, Jamie, was also there with her son, whose name I cannot remember right now. HELP!
We enjoyed the nice sunny weather, although at times it was a bit windy that did not stop us from sharing stories of what our little ones are doing and how they keep us so busy. Also, it was great to share tips and tricks regarding toys and gadgets.
I'd like for us all to get together this summer, maybe late July and hopefully other Fall '08 Arizona Moms can join us. Suggestions for our next gathering?!?!?!

Tuesday, March 3, 2009
Hi! I'm Christine, a quasi-full-time working mommy (I'm off Tues/Thurs afternoons) to Zach, who was born Sept. 12, 2008. Loving being a first time mommy, enjoying all the new experiences with Zach and watching him grow sooo fast! I can't believe he's almost 6 months! We live in SE Chandler (pretty much the Gilbert/Chandler border). Been out in AZ for over 7 years, we moved here straight out of college from Florida (Go Gators!). This blog is a great idea!

March Get-Together
Hello ladies. I'm an outdoors person, thus the park and picnic suggestion. If you'd rather not have a picnic we can meet at one of the restaurants in Casa Grande.
My suggestions are... please comment with yours.
1. Villago Lake Park in Casa Grande - http://www.promenadeatcasagrande.com/dining.asp - I'll reserve a Ramada and we can set up pack 'n plays and blankets for the little ones to play or nap.
2. Promenade at Casa Grande - http://www.promenadeatcasagrande.com/dining.asp
Lets start with deciding what to do then we'll figure out when - I'm still waiting on hearing from a few on when they CANNOT make it.

Hey!

Hey Everyone! My name is Shari, I'm 25, & I live in Queen Creek with my husband Colin, and our daughter Jordyn who was born September 4, 2008 and our 2 dogs. I can't believe Jordyn will be 6 months old this week!!! I was a stay at home mommy until this past week when I started a new job at iQor in Chandler it's a pretty fun job and I found the most amazing daycare to send Jordyn to. She doesn't even care when I get there to pick her up she's having so much fun! We've lived in AZ for a little over 2 years. And just want to warn all of you that we LOVE Disney and you'll find practically everything in my life is related to Disney in one way or another. Colin & I actually met while we were working at Disney World on college internships! Here are some pictures of my little (not so little!) princess!
Coming home from the hospital (3 days old)
At Christmas
Trade?
Anyone using Huggies? I have 4 coupons for $1.50 off diapers and two coupons for .50 off wipes. I'd love to trade for Pampers.
Also, I have a can of Similac Soy (pink can) that is up for grabs. Anyone?

There are a couple more Arizona mom's from the October board that I still need to get their emails so they can join in! Invite anyone you know who's an Arizona mom, just send me their email address so I can add them to the contributors list!

AZ Mom
Hello Moms,
First let me say that I think this blog is an excellent idea! Good thinking Amy. My name is Kelly and I live in Gilbert. I moved to AZ in June 07' after my husband and I got married. We are from Pennsylvania. Adam my husband has a very good job out here so it made sense to move here then to stay in PA. I have a 10 year old daughter who lives with us, but spends her summers and school breaks in PA with her dad and the rest of the family. I love it here, but have yet to make an friends. Our neighborhood is new and not yet completed and now our builder has gone bankrupt so who knows if it will ever get completed! I was working with the Chandler School District, but left soon after I became pregnant. I am now a stay at home mom to my beautiful 3 month old son Nathan. He was born on Thanksgiving Day, a week earlier then expected due to a low fluid level. He is absolutely perfect except for the fact that he doesn't sleep very well. :) We are in the process of getting into a set routine so I hope that this does the trick. I am looking forward to meeting and chatting with some new moms from the area.

Amy, mommy of Elizabeth
Hello fellow Arizona moms! I'm Amy, mommy of Elizabeth who was born on Oct. 1, 2008. We live in Tucson with my husband, Jim, and cat Emily. I have a step son who lives in Pennsylvania, but spends his summers with us. I teach middle school art and language arts at a K-8th grade school and love it! I also sponsor an after school art club for students in grades K-6. Before teaching I worked civil service as a special event planner for the military and then was a training manager for a telecommunications company. I got bored quickly teaching the same training classes over and over again and planning the same old event every year that teaching sounds like a new and exciting challenge. Nearly eight years later I still love it!
My family and I love to travel and do a lot of camping, hiking, and letterboxing. We are hoping to take Elizabeth camping at Picacho Peak State Park this spring.
Welcome
Okay, so lets try this again. So sorry about the first blog. I left for a bit to take care of Elizabeth and ended up loosing what I thought I'd saved. Anyway....
This blog is for Arizona moms to share stories, keep in touch, exchange coupons and baby things, and whatever else we decide to do!
